Pollution of Major Rivers
This data is based on the national and river-specific statistics of major rivers' monitoring results, using the River Pollution Index (RPI) to measure 4 water quality parameters, including dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), suspended solids (SS) and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) to calculate the index integral value, and divided into four categories, including non-polluted, lightly-polluted, moderately-polluted, and severely-polluted to estimate the length of the river.
